homecoming...sorta

yeah, homecoming was great fun.
we went to the elephant bar, quite a few mc-ers there, yeah.
the candids got posted online. i went through all of them. let me tell you, that was FUN.

So I finally found the youtube person with all the first season episodes and have finished watching them. They changed the themesong slightly have way through. I liked the old one! This one drags a little to much for me, even though its not much.
Starting watching the second season and saw the 2/3 of the C is for changes but they haven't put the third part up yet. Waiting sucks.

BAND BANQUET!!!!

Band Banquet was tooonnnnnssss of fun! I took pictures for about an hour. I have so many now. Dinner was pretty good. Banri made his table eat their entire meal with chopsticks, salad and all. I need to find out how that went. It was so funny though. I don't think I've ever eaten salad w/ chopsticks. not going to try either.
Before finding out who was going to get section leader was so stressful. Kristen and I were hyperventilating and it made the people around us nervous, Dawn and Jessica. I'M A SECTION LEADER!!! woooot! After that, I was happy. they didn't announce it til the very end of the awards part, so it was a lot of waiting. The dance was pretty fun. The first half, the songs were cool, and then it just went downhill, except for the macaraena (sp?). Got home around 12:30. Today was kind of busy. Great weekend overall though.

Boats

WHY is it so hard to come up with a theme. Jeez. We spent like 1/2 an hour at Home Depot trying to decide on a theme. Then we had to get paint, which was another story in and of itself. I officially know how to buy paint, and it's a lot harder than it seems.
On another note, I bought the flowers for prom. We had to walk all the way there and back, and I was late for my tutoring. again, another story. If I get bored, I'll tell you. or just ask

Physics

I think I failed that test, and English. At least they are now OVER!!! How was bio. sorry I didn't see you allllll day except in the morn, although, I don't know why I didn't see you at the very end. I think I went ahead to talk with Susan. So, how was bio?

AP testing

sucks. a lot. bleh. The only one I feel ready for is Calc. I know. wierdo.

Calc Camp

I am such a nerd. Oh well.
We had a lot of free time and Jessica, Stephanie, Robyn and I hiked all around the camp. Some of those trails looked like no one had been there for weeks. It was really cool exploring rugged terrain. You could see sooooo many stars at night, it was really cool. I'm pretty sure I saw a shooting star also. They go by so fast. Doing the calc itself went by pretty fast, I had an interesting group the first day. There was this cool rock we sat on when we got bored. There are so many huge rocks over there. We also had a talent show. Now that was funny. I did something really lame, but some of those people did some interesting things, even Mr. Matson. Ms. Brooks taught us some defense moves. Those skits though, that was really funny. I was cracking up sooo hard. The food was pretty good for a camp. Went on a zip line.
Hope Yosemite was fun. Thanks for telling me. Some friend you are. :)

Festival and Julius Ceasar

Ok. So you know how we were joking about how I should pretend I wasn't here and freak Robyn out. Well guess what? SHE got sick. That little...poor Kevin had to put up with me freaking out. I really need to curb my complaining. I do it way to often, but I can't help it. It's in me blood. So I ended up being the only flute on first part for the second song. Good thing Justin plays flute on the first song or I would have been screwed beyond belief. I kind of screwed up the second song, but that's ok. Ok, done ranting. Good news: We still got unanimous superior.

The rest of the day went very well though, except my shoes were killing me.. Kevin and I went to eat at Subway. We went back to school and saw Andrew and Andy. Those two are going to get themselves killed one of these days. Julius Ceasar was pretty good. Some parts were drawn out, but what can you do but sit and listen and act like you aren't falling a..asle..*yawn*...asleep. The story was pretty nice. But boy was I tired by the end of the day.

SATs

I'm sooo glad that's over. The only good thing was that I missed my recital. I was driving out of the parking lot when my dad calls to tell me that it just finished. I kind of wanted to play also as I was actually PREPARED!! Oh well. So I met my parents at Chins and I stuffed my face. I have a huge headache now. Bleh.

Costco

So I go to the Carmel Mountain Costco for my optomistrist appointment at 3, arriving around 2:45, so I wait in my car for my mom. At 3, I go inside and guess what! My appointment was at the Poway Costco. Figures. Luckily, the girl working there was kind enough to squeeze me in. So my mom and I went shopping, I pigged out on Costco samples and then went to my appointment. my eyes are getting worse!!!! bugger. So, I have the rest of the afternoon to listen to my mom complaining about the Costcos and reprimanding me and my sister for why we have bad eyes, not that I already didn't have enough of that. Until Tomorrow. JUMPROPES!!

JP Night

Junior Paper Night Library is actually very good for me. It keeps me concentrated.
I've had Brown Eyed Girl stuck in my head all day, but I don't mind. I love that song. Wish I knew all the words though. *sigh* Van Morrison is cooool.

So, after many years of taking videos on old 8mm film, my dad finally decides to go buy something that will play them. Why can't I remember anything in any of the films? You'd think I would, I mean, I was already like 5 or 6 in some of them and I can't remember a thing, which is really sad. I have the worst memory.

Anyway, we plan on converting them all to DVD. That is, as soon as we get a burner, which considering how long it took my dad to get a player, might be a while. a long while.

Randomness

I Can't believe they're almost over . I can't believe that break is almost over. A week goes by sooooo fast. I hope retreat was fun.

I went up to the mountains on the 22nd and went skiing. It was only my second time skiing and I was crazy enough to go on the summit run three times. I was really sore afterward, but oh well. It was fun.

The short track relay yesterday was sooo exciting and nerve wracking. I hope you saw it. and Apolo won gold also. Woot!

Took the CM test today. It wasn't so bad. Annie helped me a lot.

Chinese New Year Celebration

Tons and Tons of food especially noodles. I bought boba from my class and later found out that I could have gotten it for FREE! Oh well, at least I got a free refill, and free food from there. My teacher was making these really neat little dough figures that were soooo cute. I'll bring the rose I got on Monday, if I remember.
Olympic Opening Ceremony was sooooo cool. Especially the end. I love Nessum Dorma. Torendot rules! Woot! Lighting the torch looked really awesome also. GO USA!!!!
